Generally, 2014 was a bad year for everyone globally, especially Malaysia. My parents and I were watching a year in review on NTV7 news the other day (kinda like Facebook’s feature that gets all up in your face, no thanks) and it was basically just riots after massacres after pandemics after missing planes after tragedies and more tragedies.
But personally, and this is going to sound very self-absorbed, 2014 was a pretty good year for me. My entire year was spent in Sunway with my friends, and I don’t regret a single thing. I got caught in my own miseries the first half of the year, but that half also allowed me to grow quite a lot as a person, and gradually throughout the whole year, I got to know the people around me, and simultaneously, myself, better. This year was a growing experience, and a lot of great memories were made.
2014 flew by really, really fast. I can’t pinpoint exactly what happened in which month this year like I could last year, because a lot of things happened really quickly, but I’m glad that it was loaded and filled with so many things and people and events. There is nothing sadder than an empty year with forgettable memories.
2014 was great, and I want to thank everyone who made it so. Thank you for being a part of my year. I love y’all a lot
I can’t channel much emotion right now I’m not sure why so apologies for the soulless words, but I’m truly very thankful, and I pray 2015 will be a better year for the world for everyone everywhere.
Have a great 2015, folks
