An Invitation

OK, Essay Revision.

Sze Chan Music Centre of Jalan Stadium is organizing a once-in-two-years concert in conjunction of….well, I don’t know, really. The concert consists of groups of violinists, pianists, drummers, guitarists, keyboard players, choir singers and line dancers.

The violin orchestra is divided into three -or more, I’m not sure- groups, thus performing different pieces. Two of the groups are students of Madame Pauleen Khoo; one consisting of middle grades students, another consisting of higher graders. The third group of violinists are students -some are not, like me- of Miss Ashley Wong.

The songs performed by Madame Khoo’s students include:

Middle Graders

1. You Raise Me Up
2. It’s My Party
3. It’s A Small World
4. Flower Drum Song

High Graders

1. Mamma Mia
2. …(forgotten)
3. (etc etc that I have forgotten)

And the songs performed my Miss Ashley’s students are:

1. Canon in D
2. Ah Vous Dira Je Maman (Which is also ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’)
3. I Could Have Danced All Night
4. Consider Yourself
5. Can Can
6. Reflection

The concert will be held at the hall of Taman Budaya Alor Star situated next to Kedah Club on the 22nd of March 2009 (Sunday). The event starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
