I was looking for old photos on my mum’s Facebook profile when I stumbled upon two albums that made me start. I found the first photo dated 9th June 2009 in my 14th birthday album and the second photo in the countdown to 2012 album. What made me start was how eerily similar both photos were. Jia Yuan and I (the one in the red shirt with her hair tied in a ponytail) were both on the same couch and I was wearing the same shirt in both photos. Both Jia Ying and Xin Tong’s poses and positions were also similar, and the most important thing is none of this was planned, obviously. When you come to think of it, it’s quite scary and wonderful at the same time.

Procrastination Station #3
Since Caleb has already suggested it, and this blog has been quite dead for weeks already, here is a random short story in response to Caleb’s pretty fantastic question sent to my Formspring account.
If there were a giant flying bear with laser beaming out of it’s eyes, what’d you do? Catch it with a Pokeball, draw out your lightsaber, try to telekinetically push it away with your Sylar-like abilities, or apparate away?
It was past midnight and Michelle was walking alone along Jalan Pegawai in search of something to eat to satisfy her hunger cravings when suddenly, a giant bear appeared out of nowhere and flew at her. She was ready to bring out her pepper spray to deal with this pedobear when the bear shot lasers out of its eyes, narrowly missing Michelle’s shirt hem by a few inches. And that was when she realised– this was no ordinary bear, nor was it any ordinary pedobear, either! It was the legendary Ladobear (laser-pedo-bear, yes that is the product of a creative mind)! Realising that she was caught completely offguard and thus slow in reactions, she could only Apparate each time the bear shot lasers at her. This carried on for the first few laser shots until she regained her reflexes and managed to hatch a plan in her mind.
When she reckoned she was ready, she stopped Apparating and turned around to face the bear, which caught the bear off guard. She first used her Sylar-like telekinesis ability to push the bear away, and then brought it in (catching the bear off guard TWICE) so she could slice at it with her lightsaber which she had drawn out of her hoverbelt. This carried on for five, ten times until the bear showed fatigue. Sensing her cue, Michelle picked a Pokeball from her hoverbelt and aimed it at the bear, where it stayed safely.
Michelle looked at her watch -12.41am- and groaned loudly. NOW there really was nothing left for her to eat anymore.
Yes, I’m a nerd, but at least I’m a cool nerd.
Err…What’s This?
“Why is it so bright? Why is everything so white?” *gasp* “Michelle, what is this?!”
This is a theme change.
This morning, I woke up to discover a pleasantly surprising sight:
Careful Confessions hits the 30K view mark!
And five days away from its 3-year anniversary, too.
So, I decided to celebrate this reaching of a milestone by changing my theme to a new, freshly released one. Manifest was released just last night, and I literally screamed and fangirled over the demo site for a while. It was THE THEME I’ve been waiting for! The exact same font and layout I’ve been pining for! It was as if WordPress decided to release this new theme especially just for me!
Anyway, directions to changed links: as you can see, the right sidebar is gone, but I’ve retained the monthly archive, twitter and blog stats widgets right at the bottom of this page. Links to my other different services can be found in my ‘About the Blogger’ page up there, just underneath the blog title.
As you can also see, there is a sparkly new banner underneath the title as well, proudly graced by half of my face. I still don’t know whether I like it or not, I’ll probably take it off in a week’s time or let it remain there because my face actually looks quite-

Hello again, friend of a friend, I knew you when
Our common goal was waiting for the world to end
I’m sorry for being away for so long. It might not be too long for you but it certainly was for me. I’ve missed blogging about this year’s Chinese New Year because I’ve been busy before, during and after CNY, so I thought I’d just cram a summary about my CNY in this post, since this is basically an update-on-my-life post.
This year’s Chinese New Year was more uneventful and I guess you can say problematic because of all sorts of issues. But that didn’t mean I didn’t have a particularly great time, because I did, so you can say I did and didn’t have a great time this CNY. I’ll let you figure that out by yourself.
School is…well, let’s just say if I had only half a year to study for PMR, I could go to tuitions and take up all kinds of other lessons and I still wouldn’t be as busy as I am now. I’ve said this and I’ll say it again, whoever said Form 4 is a honeymoon year is clearly delusional. I’ve learned the effects Add Math can have on you and almost every day, I’d come home from school nearly incoherent and have aches everywhere, even, and especially, my head. Imagine! Sweating and aching in your joints not from any form of physical exercise, but from a math-athon.
Did I also mention how Jewnicorn love is taking over my life? Because they are, and no amount of well-thought out words and precisely formed phrases can ever describe my obsession with the perfect creatures they are.
On the other hand, Careful Confessions hit the 20,000 views mark! 20k views in a time span of two years, this makes me feel pretty accomplished somehow. And now, perhaps some kind of makeover to celebrate this milestone or something. (Which is honestly quite a pain in the arse because there aren’t any decent themes at the moment but I’m starting to get bored of this theme so I’m pretty much just hoping for a new theme release everytime I log in.)
Open Topic!
So comes the time when Michelle finds herself really really bored once again and demands a favour from her readers.
Here is a form, and everyone should write in there what you want me to write, what you want to see on my blog. For example if someone writes in there ‘music’ I write a post concerning my music tastes, interests etc; or if someone writes ‘what would you do and how would you feel if twelve zombies entered your room right this second carrying magical wands and axes and smashing your Harry Potter books up’ I would also proceed to write a long post saying I would burn those zombies alive (or dead) and suck their fingers with a vacuum before they even touch my books.
So yeah you get the idea. I told you I was bored, didn’t I?
It would be absolutely great if you could be more elaborate on your answer too kthx. Leave a name if you want, but either way I don’t mind.
*Also I get the right to dismiss your answers if they are rude and rated (hehehohohuhuhoo) and I will try to write every topic unless I find it foolish and abnormal and too tedious then I apologise.
AND HERE IS THE LINK TO THE FORM TO THOSE WHO MISSED IT THE FIRST TIME

Dimitri gave Rose the ultimate choice. But she chose wrong…
After a long and heartbreaking journey to Dimitri’s birthplace in Siberia, Rose Hathaway has finally returned to St. Vladimir’s—and to her best friend, Lissa. She failed to kill him when she had the chance. And now her worst fears are about to come true— Dimitri has tasted her blood, and now he is hunting her. Only this time, he won’t rest until Rose joins him…forever.

Just to throw it out thereeee, some might think my addiction/obsession is due to someone else’s addiction/obsession too. Nuuuu. One of the reason’s cos I keep on picturing Dimitri as smexyGaspardUlliel. Okay. Nuff with the rambling. kthxbai.
SMILE.

`FAIL SUGRPLMFAIRY – – – *
If anybody cares to check out my MSN username, that’s what mine says.
FAIL – Cos Michelle Teoh Zi Yan fails and almost everything. Literally. She can’t even blow a balloon to save her life.
SUGRPLUMFAIRY- ‘Sugar plum fairy’ is a term by Aunty Sue to make me feel better on the first day of school. Instead of wallowing in all the other penguin-like names (not that I don’t like penguins. Breanna’s a PablitaPenguin and I love her dearly. <33 ) I feel like a fairy. Not literally, cos I don’t have wands.
Just trying to console myself on the last day of Internetdom. /sad
Also, another quirky fact, I was bored and searched for my name, and:
(WordPress loves me again! /random)
It says my name ranks 21st in USA. Fail or Win? You tell me.
Mayo out, as per usual.
